Lemon-Sorrel Foraged Salad

Ingredients:

  • 1–2 cups fresh yellow wood sorrel leaves and flowers

  • Mixed greens (dandelion, violet leaves, spinach)

  • ½ cucumber, sliced

  • Crumbled goat cheese or feta

  • Sunflower seeds or walnuts

  • Light vinaigrette or lemon-olive oil dressing

Instructions:

  1. Toss all greens, toppings, and dressing.

  2. Garnish with sorrel flowers for a citrusy burst and bright color.

Sorrel-Crusted Chicken or Fish

Ingredients:

  • Chicken breast or white fish fillet

  • ½ cup finely chopped sorrel

  • ½ cup breadcrumbs

  • Salt and pepper

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • Oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. Dip meat in egg, then coat with sorrel-breadcrumb mix.

Instructions:
